You must meet the Chasm around midday when the sun lights up and reveals the vivid reds, oranges, and ochres of the chasm walls as its plunges to the white rock floor.
My painting seeks to bring out more than just the vivid colours of the chasm. I want to catch the sense of the inquisitive mind, wondering whether it gets more spectacular around the next corner, the sense that there is more to come.
