Li Peng and his Art

There are four works by Li Peng in the Gallery. They are very striking and interesting works, both for their composition and the technique employed.

Li Peng has taken images inspired by nature (and in this case appear as images of lake Eyre) and transposed them onto s stainless steel base with stunning effect.

The works are quite unique, but there is a touch of Olsen in the perspective of the outback lakes from above, bringing the depth and variety of colour to the work.

Description of work Li Peng is a photographer whose work is highly sort after and is found in many significant galleries and exhibitions around the world.

It was an unexpected encounter that truly set Li Peng on his journey of aerial photography – in a bar near Australia’s “Eye Lake,” an unassuming album resting quietly on a shelf exerted an inexplicable pull on him. The album chronicled the stories of several photographers who ventured into aerial photography to capture the magnificent scenery of Eye Lake and its surroundings. Tragically, they encountered misfortune during their shoots, but their spirit and legacy lived on forever. Each photograph in the album seemed like a miracle viewed from the clouds, revealing the Earth’s landscape unprecedentedly, leaving Li Peng deeply awestruck.

At that moment, as if summoned by some force, Li Peng decided to document the beauty of the Earth in his way. Therefore, he began his aerial photography journey, where he witnessed countless breathtaking landscapes. Whether vast prairies, winding rivers, majestic snow-capped mountains, or bustling cities, they all exhibited a unique charm under his shots.

The arrival of the pandemic brought the world to a halt, yet it granted Li Peng a rare opportunity to organize and reflect on his past photographic endeavors.
