Arkaroola, Ridgetop Tour, Coulthard’s Lookout
The Ridgetop Tour is the iconic experience of the Arkaroola Wilderness Sanctuary. This painting from near Coulthard’d Lookout captures the colour, depth and grandeur of the landscape.

Mt Giles, Western MacDonnell Ranges
The lands to the west of Alice Springs never cease to amaze. The blue haze of the distant range, looking out over a dry wide plain to Mt Giles. You see more when you walk through the hills.

Travelling from Oodnadatta through the Painted Desert.
I found some pieces beautiful of timber in the back lane and immediately thought of those wide Fred Williams Landscapes. In this case (2 of them) I sought to capture the feeling that comes to you at sunset. The Approaching work translates that feeling of travelling to a destination at sunset, while the second is about the serenity of the end of the day atop the ridge line.

Sunset at Coongie Lakes.
The Cooper flows through Innamincka and on to the Coongie Lakes. This system supports an intricate eco system and an abundance of wildlife. This is the land where Burke & Wills came to grief, inspire of the wildlife, so there is a contemplation about history, but the sunsets take you to a different place and are something to behold.
