Arkaroola – Landscapes That Matter
I often spend time in my favourite landscape, wandering through the rock holes of Arkaroola, looking for any remnant water and any accompanying reflections, searching for inspiration. I aspire to bring an authentic expression of Arkaroola and reveal the challenge within the landscape and the robustness needed to survive the long dry periods.

“Bararrana Hill, Arkaroola”
90 cm high by 60 cm wide,
oil on stretched canvas,
$2500
Bararranna Waterhole is a strenuos walk from Stubbs Waterhole. On the way, one comes to a lovely waterhole at a creek junction at the foot of bararranna Hill. This painting brings the ruggedness of Arkaroola that we can gaze at in awe.
