Cactus Beach, South Australia
Some of my paintings come from taking a deep breath and letting our incredible outback environment flow into the soul.
A Cactus Beach sunset is no different, watching wave after wave roll in as the daylight slowly fades. in terms of colour, there is the orange hue on the horizon giving way to an eerie purple on the break. The painting seeks to convey the impression of the wind dropping as the beach transforms to a peaceful evening.
