Shotover Canyon is in the heart of Cape Range. As the land rose, Ningaloo Reef became a “mountain range” of coral. Over the years a canyon has developed and exposed the old layers of coral and sand. It is not the landscape that one expects, but still a remarkable story and a walk across the top to the lookout is well rewarded.
